Welcome to the Rubber Ducks' Beauty Contest!
The speciality of the Lake Chelan Chamber Duck Race is that we do not honour only the athletic ducks racing down the river, but also the creative!
If you enter your duck into the beauty contests before the race day and dress it up in a pretty, inventive, strange or totally weird way, you'll have even more fun with your feathered friend - and you get the chance to win a Spa Package From Deep Water Salon & Spa for the most beautiful duck.
You may paint, glue, stitch, saw, knit, screw, solder... whatever is fine with you and with your duck is also fine with us. Just one exception: no remote controlled motor ducks, please!
Contest Rules
Ducks are 18” (bigger than the race ducks)
Deadline May 1st 2014 by 5pm
Duck must be purchased before the event to participate in the beauty contest.
Duck must have a name/title
Duck must have a description explaining who they are or what they represent.
All ducks entering must be at the park no later then 11:30AM on the day of the Contest May 3rd.
Judging will be done by community members on the day of the Duck Race / Contest. Duck with the most votes WINS!
Winning duck will receive a Spa Package from Deep Water Salon & Spa.
Duck winner will be announced at 1:30pm on May 3rd 2014.
